Meet Our Team of
Dedicated Professionals

Ryan Wood – Director / Electrician
Ryan completed his apprenticeship back in 2004 and went on to spend some time in the mines working in the field of high voltage underground systems. After a short stint overseas, he returned to start Electric Air Solutions (now EAS) in 2007. The company’s origins were in residential solar and air conditioning. The business quickly grew and became the sole contractor for air conditioning installations for Harvey Norman Marion, which required significant expansion necessitating multiple vans and apprentices. Ryan has ensured a key value of EAS is to maintain business relationships by consistent, professional, and top-quality workmanship.

Kye Mickan – Director / Electrician
Kye has a background in corporate IT and has spent time running SAP systems for utilities, oil and gas, mining, investment banking and consulting firms across Australia and the UK. Kye’s passion for renewables brought him back to SA and to EAS as a mature age apprentice in 2015. His wealth of corporate knowledge and technical IT ability beautifully complements Ryan’s hands on skills, and this partnership has been instrumental in the successful delivery of large commercial projects.

Luke Tomlin – Electrician
Luke is an extremely reliable and capable electrician. He came to us as a first-year apprentice after beginning his training with another electrical company. Luke lives locally and is always eager to contribute the extra mile to ensure jobs are completed to the standard we expect. Luke holds a CEC design and install license along with on-grid battery accreditation.

Michael Boseley – Electrician
Michael is a highly skilled and experienced electrician. He has extensive knowledge in solar and HVAC installations as well as general electrical fit outs. Michael complements our senior electrical team as a natural leader and someone the apprentices look up to. He is only too happy to share his knowledge and further the education and skills of the younger team. Michael has worked expansively in both residential and commercial fields including the mining sector.

Lenny Biggs – Apprentice
Lenny is one of our rising stars at EAS, beginning his apprenticeship with us in 2020. Lenny is very hands-on and eager to learn. As the previous co-captain of his high school Football club, Lenny’s ability to be a leader and self-motivator has made a positive impact in the workplace. In his spare time, Lenny still enjoys playing footy, and spending time with his mates.

Connor McHale – Apprentice
Connor joined the EAS team through a work experience program in 2021. He showed great ability and keenness during his time with us and was offered an apprenticeship on the back of it. Thus far he has proven to be an integral part of the team and we are looking forward to watching him grow as an electrician.

Rhys Argent – Apprentice
Rhys is a third-year adult apprentice who joined EAS in 2021 after completing 2 years with another electrical company. Rhys is a hardworking and very capable electrician who enjoys keeping active outside work hours. He is very keen to complete his training and begin work as a fully licenced electrician.

Shiv Patel – Apprentice
Shiv came to EAS as part of a government traineeship initiative. Shiv had initially wanted to pursue an engineering career, but his love of hands-on work brought him to us to start his apprenticeship. Whilst he is a relatively new employee, he is already showing a great aptitude for electrical work and fits in very well with the team. His high level of motivation and a willingness to learn will ensure he completes his apprenticeship to a very high standard.

Karen Rodger – Office Manager
Karen runs most of our background office operations. She has extensive administrative experience across many industries, bringing with her a natural ability to create and implement systems to increase efficiency and optimise outcomes for both customers and business operations.

Abigail Tran – Office Administrator
Abi joined our team in 2022 and has been a valuable addition. Her role is in scheduling, auditing jobs and assisting with daily administrative tasks.

Don Western – Senior Electrician / Consultant
Don’s experience in the South Australian electrical industry is second to none. He has nearly 50 years’ experience working in a wide array of electrical fields. His wealth of knowledge especially as it relates to high voltage systems is invaluable.

Tyler Duffy – Apprentice
Tyler has recently joined the team as a mature age apprentice. He is originally from Queensland and has a background in defence and an eager appetite to learn his electrical trade. Outside of work he enjoys fixing and working on cars and excels at karaoke!
